David Tanis, MBA
PMP · LSSBB · CSCP
David works at the seam between operations and technology: the strategist who rethinks how an organization runs, and the builder who ships the systems that run it. Across healthcare, legal, architecture, and professional services, that work takes shape as analytics dashboards, custom CRMs, decision-support tools, and workflow automation.
His work begins where an organization has outgrown its spreadsheets. For a multi-site healthcare group, he stood up the first systems-and-automation function from the ground up and delivered a HIPAA-aligned operations platform with enterprise governance: role-based access, audit logging, and retention policies.
He translates ambiguous operational problems into clear requirements, sound governance, and durable systems. He holds an MBA in Information Systems and is completing an MS in Data Analytics and AI, backed by a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), Project Management Professional (PMP) credential, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation, and an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM.
The discipline was set early. David enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserve at 17 as a Seabee in the Naval Construction Force, drilling with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 14 while holding a full-time job and finishing his degree. This Fall, he brings the same standard to the classroom as an adjunct professor of Business and Technology at Florida SouthWestern State College. He is co-founder of ZLDA Group, where he leads AI and process strategy.
